Endangered rainforest animals for your child to know

Children need to be educated about all the different life forms that inhabit our planet and Earth. It’s good to teach children about the millions of animals that exist in this world. Half of them live in the rainforest. This article on endangered rainforest animals that your child knows covers some of these endangered animals to raise their children’s awareness. It is our duty to teach our children, as our children are the future of our country.

Children need to be informed that the extinction and danger of most animals is caused by human activity. There are many animal rights activists who bravely strive to save endangered species and stop extinction, but it is a long and difficult battle. Rainforests are constantly under threat, and saving rainforests means saving the animals that live in the forest. Rainforests are considered the largest pharmacies in nature because they contain many natural medicines.

Here are some of the better-known endangered rainforest animals that your child knows:

Gorilla-Discovered in the rainforests of Zaire and western Central Africa in Rwanda, wiped out by habitat loss and at risk of being hunted as bushmeat. The Ebola virus has already caused serious damage to gorilla populations.

Golden Lion Tamarind Monkey-Probably the most endangered and nearly extinct of all rainforest animals. These monkey furs are extremely valuable and can make as much as $ 20,000 in the black market. Their numbers have declined dramatically, with very few species found in the Brazilian rainforest.

Jaguar-One of the smoothest of all beasts, this magnificent animal is on the list of endangered species. Although banned in most countries, hunting continues to bring species closer to extinction year after year.

Bengal tiger-Only about 4000 of these animals remain in the wilderness of Sundarban in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, China and Siberia. Considering that there were about 50,000 in the 1900s, we can see how much humans have been damaged by poaching the land as well as these beautiful animals.

Most of us know and love orangutans. It’s sad to know that these cute creatures with orange-haired mops are on the list of endangered species. Habitat destruction and loss, coupled with poaching and hunting as an exotic species, has led to a decline in numbers.

This list is just the beginning of a very long list of endangered rainforest animals that children should know about. Encourage them to visit as many places as possible to learn more and teach them motivations to save endangered animals.

Marula Fruits-African sake for wildlife, or a complete myth?

Are you familiar with the Marula tree? Otherwise, it’s a beautiful African tree that produces wonderful and delicious fruits! Apparently a delicious fruit that intoxicates elephants …? The story goes on for years … it has even become a liquor called “Amarula” for lovers (by the way, it’s very tasty like Baileys)! origin The story dates back to the 1970s (1974 to be exact). A man named Jamie Uys produced two documentaries called “Beautiful People” (he also directed “Gods Must Be Crazy”). In particular, the footage of wild animals getting drunk after eating the fruits of Marula was an immediate hit (and won the highest documentary award). Since then, millions of people are still persuaded that elephants are really intoxicated with such “powerful” fruits! The question is, is that true? Genuine information or complete fallacy? Sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately (unfortunately) (depending on how you see it ...

Facts you need to know before putting a ferret on the cat tower

If you are like some pet owners, you may have a mixed household of pets. For pet owners who own ferrets, you may wonder if the cat tower is a safe place for ferrets to play. Another concern is whether cats and ferrets can share the same tower. Many also want to know if it’s better to buy multiple cat towers. Ferrets love to climb and enjoy finding special places to hide. They will fully enjoy the small tunnels and boxes that come as part of many cat towers. However, although ferrets are considered intelligent animals, they do not seem to fully understand their height, or more precisely, their height is too high. Due to this lack of awareness of height, it may be a good idea to buy a cat tree on the short side. Ferret owners report that the playful ferret fell out of the unit without injury. Make sure the base is fully seated to prevent it from tipping over easily. There seems to be no conflict with cats and ferrets who enjoy using the same cat tower. In fact, one owner revealed th...
