Understand the pictorial image of God.
You have experienced dreams and visions and made prophecies about life. Some of it may have been very clear while the other elements were full of mysteries. God’s prophetic words take many forms and can be expressed in different images. God is now revealing the meaning of the words in his paintings, so his people can understand what he is liberating through the realm of prophecy. A complete book is needed to fully cover this subject, but in this article I would like to show you some principles and share some examples to help you.
First, whenever you have a dream, have a prophetic vision, or receive a prophetic word, it’s a good idea to write it down. Otherwise, many details can be completely lost in a short amount of time. When you receive a prophetic word from a prophet (Tess), ask them to explain the meaning of what they saw and felt. If it was a vision or dream, it is advisable to take descriptive notes. You can then search the Bible for the type of image or picture to see what the image conveys in the Bible. These are very helpful as there are plenty of free electronic Bibles online and include word search and learning aids.
It is important to pray and seek understanding from the Holy Spirit. He wrote a dream, so he has the details. But he deals with details that make sense to you. He often uses experiences, memories, and settings that are unique to you. Someone else will not understand them like you do. For example, looking at a hot stove may bring someone a sense of warmth, family, comfort, and peace. People who see the stove in their dreams may feel fear and pain because they were severely burned when they hit the stove as a child. In these scenarios, God may comfort the first person, lead to a sense of security, or a relationship. In the second example, God may have invited the person to be free from childhood fears. So ask him to identify areas within you that may reveal the work of deeper recovery.
Focus on the image. There are so many images in the Bible that God used them, so refer to them together. Check if they are related to what you received. Jesus often used parables, which are illustrations containing spiritual truths. The lamp represents light and guidance, and the net represents harvest. Familiarize yourself with these through word search and be aware of the application if you come across them.
When interpreting a dream, it is important to look at the emotional, spiritual, and contextual content of the dream. Was it horrifying, peaceful, encouraging, or threatening? Did the details provide directions or promises? Did the dream detail the problem to pray for? Was your dream a training module where the Lord would let you do testing and equipment sessions? Ask a question-why is this and not? Some open issues in the dream are not important. If there were details that I didn’t notice (color, size, etc.), they probably didn’t matter.
Let’s look at some examples of dream symbols:
Prophetic symbolism
Clothes dress style:
Open color = open, nothing hidden, relaxed, informal plan,

As you can see, there are many symbols that go into a dream, vision, or prophetic trance. The above is just an example. There are many other prophetic symbols that are unique to culture. Wisdom and understanding are one of the qualities of the Holy Spirit, so we can ask the Holy Spirit for the clarity of the symbols of prophecy that may appear in dreams, illusions, or trance.
