Save the King of Beasts to save yourself

The pure dignity of Lions always captivates the imagination of all of us. From the movie “The Lion King” to the token expression “The Lion is Sleeping”, everything has put the King of Beasts at the forefront of our consciousness. But we are just beginning to understand how they existed in a world that once invaded the vast territory. In Tanzania, African Lions once lived in tens of thousands. Sadly, that number has dropped significantly today. A complete understanding of how these magnificent beasts survive in the wild is to trace their ancestors. The first lion pretended about 600,000 years ago. Its offspring would ultimately have dominated a much wider area than any other wild mammal. Their territory extends to all continents of the world except Australia and the Antarctic continent. They were in England, Russia and South America. And also in the United States. As far back as 32,000 years ago, they were depicted in paintings of French caves. They were the world that really ruled the king of beasts until about 12,000 years ago.

With the advent of better techniques, especially in hunting, we have found that we are competing with lions in the same prayer traps and hunting that lions depend on. Europe is where the lion population first disappeared. Perhaps because humans have become more accustomed to hunting the same prey. As a result, the lion’s food chain is smaller. Today, Lions are primarily in southeastern Africa, with Tanzania being the most populous region of Lions. Serengeti National Park is a haven to the world’s largest lion sanctuary with more than 3,000 lions. Lions continue to disappear outside Serengeti, where Lions are not protected by government policy. Part of the lion’s death responsibility lies with the so-called trophy hunting industry. The Tanzanian government allows more than 240 wild lions to be hunted annually outside Serengeti National Park, including animal sanctuaries and other unprotected areas. What makes this so abominable is that Safari charges a trophy fee of only $ 6.000 per lion. A portion of these proceeds will go to the government, which continues to authorize the use of fed prey so that hunters have much easier and safer conditions to hunt lions. Many of the hunted lions are coveted “male trophies,” many of whom are still weaned by their mothers. This makes pride very vulnerable and much weaker in that it can breed more lion cubs. Another real concern here is the use of lion parts in folk remedies. Like wild lions, wild tigers are disappearing in Asia for the same purpose to achieve similar animal parts. Scientists have noticed an increase in demand for leonin substitutes as another factor in the declining populations of both lions and tigers. Leonin alternatives have long been regarded as a native remedy for repercy.

The bigger problem is that Africa’s ever-growing human population has reduced the habitat of lions and other predatory animals, as in other areas once dominated by the King of Beasts. Since 1990, Tanzania alone has grown to more than 42 million people, after which more than 40% of forests have been lost due to urban development, agriculture and all other developments. This invasion of land, which was home to so many wildlife, has forced them to adapt to new environments, move to other undisturbed areas, or prey on humans. I’m letting you. When humans replaced lands that were once primeval forests and jungles, all wildlife, especially the main habitat of lions, disappeared. This human invasion has had very devastating consequences not only for wild lions, but for all natural inhabitants who once roamed freely. Livestock and diseases from these newly formed villages have spread to lion prey. In Tanzania in 1994, the outbreak of canine distemper, which began with domestic dogs, spread rapidly to herds of lions, and a huge number did not survive. Another cool statistic is that lion prey animals are consistently captured for their value in the illegal market of bushmeat. This also contributes to the rapid decline in the number of wild lions. Human invasion of what was once the lion’s territory is now at risk of the lion himself, as there is little food chain left to maintain the lion’s pride. No wonder. When that happens, it’s a loosening lion.

Africa is not a lion-free Africa, but human needs have always preceded wildlife needs and predicted human actions. As the population grows in almost every country in Africa, humanity constantly deprives wildlife of land and does not consider the survival of all animals that depend on its natural habitat. Africa currently has a population of over 1 billion. Consider the enormous impact of this population surge on all wildlife in Africa, not just lions.

To better understand the immenseness of all the tragedy in lion population decline, we need to understand how lions interact with each other and actually survive in this rapidly changing world. The lion is the only member of the sociable cat family. It is social in that it forms a puck or tribe consisting of men, women, and their children. Male lions have a beautifully colored mane or blonde shade, while other lions have a darker mane. In the world of lions, it’s not true that blondes are more fun. In fact, it is the lions with darker manes that tend to attract more women, and are generally healthier and stronger than the male blonde lions. In most cases, lions are nocturnal animals. Male lions are known to sleep an average of 20 hours a day, while female lions are more aggressive in their search for food. Males, on the other hand, tend to be invaders of mating rituals when they are known to be the most barbaric in securing mating rights.

Like all other endangered species, the death of a wild lion in its own natural habitat sends a wave of criticism to all humankind. Mankind must find a better way to coexist with all natural creatures. The deliberate eradication of all species, from overexploitation in the world’s oceans to deforestation in the Amazon rainforest, is a prime example of a human being who deliberately ignores the dignity of life. For the King of Beasts, their future is in the hands of what scientists and governments are currently proposing. In African countries, governments and scientists are now focusing on how humans can coexist with wildlife, especially lions. A special fund is currently being proposed to repay livestock breeders if the lion is not injured or killed. Another solution is to provide a modern fence to prevent livestock from becoming prey to lions and other predators. There must be a mandatory and necessary solution to prevent the illegal hunting of bushmeat. Ultimately, this proves to be one factor in ensuring that lions have adequate food, rather than endangering humans and the livestock on which they depend.

Unless humanity agrees to realize that all living things on this planet have a legitimate place in the overall balance of nature. This imbalance distorts all other aspects of nature, including our land and seascapes. The protection of the King of Beasts is just one of the key realities in the continuity and balance of all living things. This includes humanity. The deliberate extinction of living things will ultimately prove deadly to all humankind. Mankind needs to find and implement ways to coexist with all natural creatures. All futures depend on the protection of all living things, not just lions.

Marula Fruits-African sake for wildlife, or a complete myth?

Are you familiar with the Marula tree? Otherwise, it’s a beautiful African tree that produces wonderful and delicious fruits! Apparently a delicious fruit that intoxicates elephants …? The story goes on for years … it has even become a liquor called “Amarula” for lovers (by the way, it’s very tasty like Baileys)! origin The story dates back to the 1970s (1974 to be exact). A man named Jamie Uys produced two documentaries called “Beautiful People” (he also directed “Gods Must Be Crazy”). In particular, the footage of wild animals getting drunk after eating the fruits of Marula was an immediate hit (and won the highest documentary award). Since then, millions of people are still persuaded that elephants are really intoxicated with such “powerful” fruits! The question is, is that true? Genuine information or complete fallacy? Sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately (unfortunately) (depending on how you see it ...
