The nasty, protracted, and stressful debate about gay marriage in Australia has led some governments to oppose their own policies. The debate focuses on the legality of marriage between men and women, as opposed to that of same-sex couples. What most people are unaware of is the role of religious beliefs behind those who refuse to justify unions. The Catholic Church is primarily in its current situation.
Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott once belonged to the Catholic Theological Seminary, where he was trained to become a priest. His relationship with Archbishop George Pell of Sydney at the time had a clear influence on his position not to allow same-sex marriage. Ironically, the latter faces suspicion of childhood and is far from his role as the third place in the Vatican.
Marriage was not a consideration of the universal spirit of the true God. After being reborn, I returned to Babylon to understand where the marriage began. The shock is that the Mother Goddess of the city was “Mary”, the Sun. A man stylized as a woman died on the cross at dawn and was able to “marry” Mary by rising with the sun.
The crucifixion began there and was taken over by the Catholic religion after Constantine, a Muslim and descendant of the people, founded the Catholic Church on the same principle. Marriage of a priest who is considered to be married to Mary is forbidden.
Because sex is an integral part of life, such men suffering from hormonal needs are looking to easily acquired victims to satisfy them. Recently, Australian courts have heard from hundreds of adults who have been sexually abused as children by such priests and others.
Sexual partners are provided by God and there are examples of same-sex mating throughout the animal kingdom. It records everything from insects to whales to everything in between. Since humans are part of the animal kingdom, the question is why humans have different matings and must the selected partners be of the same sex.
Formal marriage is a religious requirement and has never been taken up by God in any prophecy or Bible. Many of the Old Testaments have been corrupted by men for religious reasons, but the New Testament is a Catholic document initiated by Jerome.
Therefore, the debate over gay marriage has offended many, and while the majority of Australians want it, it’s certainly time to ignore religious requirements and ask for it. There is no excuse for the current prime minister to hold a law permitting it, especially as people like Pell are now out of the circle of influence and the pressure to do so is great.
